Moving Day 1-Gallatin to Little Rock

Well if I took moving day one as an omen as to what our trip was going to be like....it wouldn't be good!  The movers that we hired started their day with a broken down vehicle.  That broken vehicle then turned into we can't come so here is the number to try to find abother mover.  At this point it was one in the afternoon on a Friday, things were not looking good.  Well thank goodness for Uhaul (who we contracted the first movers through) they were able to get us another mover.  We really needed someone to load our truck.  I mean we have a lot of stuff and we were on the third floor!
So these two movers show up and load our whole truck.  By this time though it is now 97 degrees outside and of course super muggy!  I cannot thank Gina enough for keeping me calm, collected, and fed.  So with everything packed, Gillespie had to say goodbye to our Tennessee home.
Here are some pictures from the first leg of our trip from Gallatin, TN to Little Rock, AR.
Hour Zero see how happy I am?  This is right after we loaded my car onto the trailer.

Hour 1-There was a beautiful sky right before we got to Dickson.

Hour 2

During Hour three we crossed the Mississipp River and entered Arkansas.  The picture is blurry because the roads were super bumpy at that point!

So we made it just past little rock and found a place to stay.  James did amazing driving through the very crowded parking lots.  We are getting ready to set off on our Journey day to we hope to be in Amarillo tonight!

Love,
J + K
