The first step is always the hardest

"We must be willing to let go of the life we have planned, so as to have the life that is waiting for us.” -E.M. Forester

It always amazes me how quickly time goes by.  Fourteen months ago I was just starting my Master's degree and now I am sixteen days away from graduation.  A little over two months ago, James and I decided that we would take the leap and make the move to Las Vegas, NV.  The past two months have been jam packed with phone calls, packing, and apartment hunting and now we are one week away from the big move.  Our living room is filled with a gigantic mountain of boxes awaiting the moving truck we will be picking up next Thursday.

Snots has not decided what he thinks of the move yet only getting concerned when some of his toys make their way into boxes or the garbage.  He is enjoying our now empty bedroom and keeps watch over the parking lot from his spot on the window sill.

I am greatly looking forward to the new journey ahead of us and cannot wait to see what Las Vegas has in store!  I am hoping this blog will provide our friends and family a way to keep in touch and know what is going on!
